HOW YOU CAN ENGAGE IN A BE PRACTICUM

Practicum Teams

We liken individual participation on Practicum Teams to the Peace Corps. Practicum Team members enrich their work and life experience through applied learning in serving on BE Practicum Teams.

Individuals with expertise in project management, facilitation, coaching and other areas that will support the Practicum, and who desire to advance their change/transformation capability, apply to join one of our teams.

Practicum teams serve endeavors in a wide variety of content areas located around the globe. Some scholarships are available.

Endeavor Owners

Endeavor Owners have big challenges and/or big goals in government, the nonprofit sector, corporate or cross-sector initiatives that will benefit from Practicum methods and outcomes.

Endeavor Owners apply for participation in the BE Practicum. Accepted endeavors are assigned Practicum Teams, based on project scale and scope, that support the Endeavor Owner team in achieving leadership development, systems transformation and content-specific goals.

Practicum Teams are comprised of diverse, highly skilled change agents from all over the world.

Practicum Partners

We partner with established institutions, such as leadership development programs and business, law and public policy schools, that will benefit from adding a mastery-level applied learning component to their curricula. These institutions offer BE Fellowships on Practicum Teams to their degree candidates and post-docs. BE Fellowships immerse students in Practicum endeavors that develop mastery in large-scale change.

We also partner with organizations who want to offer an experiential learning opportunity as a type of working sabbatical for high-performing employees' advancement.
